Middle school math teacher for 8 years Tutor for 4 years Selected as a teacher leader to work with other math teachers on improving their teaching skills I am the mother of three children, a 10-year old and 5-year old twins. I am interested in tutoring because it offers me the opportunity to do what I love but with the flexibility I need in my schedule. I feel that working one on one or in small groups truly helps students master the material. You can cover so much more working this way and tailor the instruction to the student's needs.
