Private tutor in Yardley, PA
St. Joseph's University - BS, Mathematics
I enjoy tutoring variety of math courses, ranging from middle school math to calculus II. I hold a degree in Mathematics that I earned at St. Joseph's University. I also worked hard to become a fellow in the Society of Actuaries. After completing college, I began working in the field of employee benefits, and I worked for many large U.S. companies, including Campbell Soup, Hershey, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. After a long, successful career, I am now retired and enjoy tutoring students in math. I have experience tutoring many students in math subjects, including statistics and algebra, while volunteering at a local college. I enjoy helping students improve their math knowledge and skills, because I believe that a strong knowledge-base of mathematics concepts is one of the keys to excelling in virtually any career; many students don't realize just how much they really will use what they learn in math classes later in life. In my free time, I enjoy participating in art classes, learning to play chess, and playing a good game of golf. You can often find me watching the Philadelphia Eagles play, as I have held season tickets to their games for the past 16 years.
